CRBC Signs Commercial Contracts for Coastal Fast Track Project and Eastern Channel Extension Line in Equatorial Guinea

His Excellency Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue- Vice President of Equatorial Guinea paid a state visit to China from July 10 to 15 upon the invitation of Li Yuanchao - Vice President of the People’s Republic of China. During the visit, CRBC President Du Fei met with his Excellency Vice President Mangue, and signed the Commercial Contracts for Coastal Fast Track Project and Eastern Channel Extension Line in Equatorial Guinea with the Government of Equatorial Guinea on behalf of CRBC.

During the meeting, his Excellency Vice President Mangue noted that CRBC is a good friend and an ideal partner deeply trusted by the Government of Equatorial Guinea, and hoped that CRBC could continue to make contributions for the economic development of Equatorial Guinea. CRBC President Du Fei noted that CRBC is looking forward to providing Equatorial Guinea with more superior projects, and making contributions for the development of relations between China and Equatorial Guinea together with the Government of Equatorial Guinea by making full use of the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

With a total length of 39.1km, the Coastal Fast Track extends along the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean. The construction of this track will enlarge the half-hour circle of Bata, the economic central city of Equatorial Guinea, include the regions along the track into the half-hour circle of Bata, and significantly accelerate the development of tourism, entertainment and regional economy in coastal economic belt of Equatorial Guinea.

With a total length of 101km, the Eastern Channel Extension Line is located in the inland Equatorial Guinea. After completion, it will connect many important cities in inland areas of Equatorial Guinea, further improve the national road network of Equatorial Guinea, and have important strategic significance for the economic development of inland areas of Equatorial Guinea.
