Yongzhou-Liuzhou Section Capability Expansion Project of Hunan-Guangxi High-speed Railway is an important component of Datong-Zhanjiang Railway passage, one of the national eight vertical and eight horizontal railways; it is an important bridge connecting Guangxi, Hainan and West Guangdong with the hinterland, another access to the sea in Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi and also an important international bond in inland areas of China and Southeast Asia region. After the completion of Hunan-Guangxi High-speed Railway Capability Expansion Project, an express railway passage with large transport capability will be formed. And its completion has an important realistic significance to improve the national railway network, smoothen the regional passenger and freight transportation, promote the local economic development, and strengthen the international economic and trade exchanges.
