On March 9, CCCC?CRBC - BJTU (Beijing Jiaotong University) signing ceremony of Strategic Cooperation Agreement for "Belt and Road" International Joint Training Program was held at the Science Hall of BJTU. At the same time, the opening ceremony of the second group of Kenyan students fully financed by CRBC was held in BJTU, and 35 Kenyan students would start their 4-5 years learning in BJTU. This program is aimed to train and transport high-end talents for the construction and operation of the railway network in Kenya and even in East Africa.

On the morning of March 3, CRBC held the opening ceremony of the 4th Young Reserve Leading Talent Creative Leadership Advanced Training Class; Shen Zhan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of Commission for Discipline Inspection and Chairman of Labor Union of CRBC attended the ceremony and gave a speech.

On October 3, which is in the holiday of Chinese National Day and also the Peace Day of Mozambique, to strengthen the communication and exchange with the Client Company, CRBC Mozambique Office held a friendly football match with Empresa de Desenvolvimento do Maputo Sul - the Client Company of Maputo Bridge Project at the National Stadium of Mozambique.

On the morning of August 9, the closing ceremony of 2016 new employees’ induction training of CRBC was held. Shen Zhan –Secretary of Commission for Discipline Inspection and President of Labor Union of CRBC, and CRBC Vice President Li Quanhuai and Wang Lijun also attended the ceremony.

On October 1, Liu Xianfa- the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya visited the Nairobi Terminus of Mombasa-Nairobi SGR and conveyed his concerns to Chinese and Kenya Employees who stick to their posts during the National Day holiday in the company of Li Quanhuai- CRBC Vice President and Chairman of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Operation Company.

On April 28, the closing ceremony of the 5th Young Reserve Leading Talent Creative Leadership Advanced Training Class of CRBC was held at the headquarters of the Company. CRBC Chairman and Party Secretary Lu Shan attended the ceremony and gave a speech.
