Thies-Touba Toll Highway Project in Senegal

Located on the southwestern plain of Senegal, the project is about 113km long in total. It is built according to the construction standard for the fully-enclosed expressway with dual two lanes and the designed speed of 130km/h.
The project is the first high-standard and high-grade toll expressway the Chinese enterprises has ever constructed in West Africa, and it can promote the employment of local people along the route, by creating 7000 to 8000 employment opportunities. After its completion, it will become the pilot section of the road transportation network of West Africa, which will not only greatly enhance the local traffic capacity and improve the balanced development of different regions in Senegal, but also serves relevant landlocked countries (such as Mali, Niger and Chad, etc.) as their main passageway to the sea.
